Located in the west section of the cultural and sports axis of hexi new town, jianye district, nanjing city, jiangsu province, west of nanjing Olympic sports center, near the Yangtze river and across the river from jiangbei new district, nanjing jiangsu grand theater is the largest modern grand theater in China and the largest theater complex in Asia.



Covering an area of about 200,000 square meters and a total construction area of 270,000 square meters, jiangsu grand theater is the largest cultural project in jiangsu province. It is designated as "a platform for displaying world-class artistic works, an exchange platform for international artistic activities, and a promotion platform for art education for public welfare".
