Guangzhou international convention and exhibition center (pazhou pavilion) is the largest convention and exhibition center in Asia as of January 2009. The total construction area of the exhibition hall is 1.1 million square meters, with 338,000 square meters of indoor exhibition hall and 43,600 square meters of outdoor exhibition hall.

Area A of the exhibition hall covers 130,000 square meters of indoor space and 30,000 square meters of outdoor space. Area B has an indoor exhibition area of 128,000 square meters and an outdoor exhibition area of 13,600 square meters. Area C has an indoor exhibition area of 80,000 square meters.

On June 19, 2014, the fourth phase expansion plan of guangzhou international convention and exhibition center was adopted. After the construction of the fourth phase, the exhibition area will reach 500,000 square meters, more than 470,000 square meters in Hanover, Germany. The exhibition area of pazhou area is 660,000 square meters, the largest in the world.
